OBITUARIES

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Trinette Yvonne Jones, who entered eternal rest on February 4, 2026.

Trinette was a proud graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and SUNY Albany. She dedicated her life to service, first as a Veterinary Technician, reflecting her deep love for animals, and later as a caseworker with the Orange County Department of Social Services.

A true "Newburgh Goldback for life," Trinette faithfully supported local basketball, football, and track programs for more than 30 years. She was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, New York Knicks, New York Liberty, and Manchester United.

Watching games with family, attending sporting events, and enjoying summer vacations with her sisters and nephews brought her immense joy.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Charlie Jones Jr. and Ida P. Jones; her sisters, Tara Y. Jones and Shtoya S. Jones; her beloved nephews, Tristan Jones and Joell Brown; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, lifelong friends, and loved ones across several states.
