OBITUARIES

Trevor George Bailey died on the 24th of October 2024 at 70 years old at his home in Poughkeepsie
New York. Trevor was born on May 8, 1954, in St Mary, Jamaica West Indies, to Martha Johnson and Charlie Bailey. He moved to The United States of America in 1993.

Trevor worked as a civil servant for over 40 years starting in Jamaica at General Penitentiary. He worked at the Office of Child & Family Services as a Youth Development Aide. He retired in 2021.

He was married to Kathleen Bailey for over 20 years. She passed away in August 2014. Trevor is survived by his 8 children, Lavern, Sandra, Michelle, Stacy, Nickeisha, Venisha, Kevon & Kedon. 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and his sisters June and Norma.

Trevor was a quiet man of very few words, who valued a simple peaceful life. He loved his Jamaican food, and music, and loved to dance. One of his favorite things to do was to travel back home to Jamaica on vacation.

Trevor George Bailey, we love you, you will be missed. May your soul rest in peace.
