Reater and I were teammates and coworkers in a Third grade class at Rose Hill-Magnolia for years. I respected her uniqueness. She was soft-spoken, but firm, a perfectionist to details. I enjoyed our times together, both in the classroom or out shopping or seeing a movie. We had a great bus trip to see Fantasia on Broadway in THE COLOR PURPLE. My sincere condolences to the family. I will miss my dear friend. Carolyn Phillips-Hatcher (formally Robinson)

Reater and I went through the middle of elementary school through college together. She and I were extremely close, sharing numerous "moments of joy" together. She had a calmness about her that was unmatched. There are so many "I remember when's," we both shared. May my very close friend rest in eternal peace.
