Obituary For Patricia Davis

Our beloved mother, Patricia Ann Davis, passed away on January 07, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 09, 1957, in the City of Newburgh, New York, to Geneva McDonald-Baggett and Jack Davis.

Patricia devoted her life to her family, raising her children and grandchildren. Patricia attended Newburgh Schools and worked at West Point in the Mess Hall serving the cadets. She was a member of The Newburgh Ministry and a volunteer at the food pantries.

Pat loved playing bingo and chilling with her road dog, Henry Pierce, whom everyone knows as Daddio, and she didn't play around when it came to playing her numbers and her scratch-offs.

Pat attended several churches; to name a few, Newburgh A.M.E. Zion Church. Growing up in the care of her foster mother, Miss Carry Walker, that gave her her nickname FeFe. And as the years went on she went to House of Joy, Heaven Bound Church Deliverance, Ebenezer, and more.

Patricia is survived by her two daughters; Chakara and Kisha Baggett and Kisha's long-time partner, Johnny Reese, all from Newburgh, NY; 6 grandchildren and three/four great-grandchildren. Eric Artis from North Carolina, Shakwan and Kimora Moody from Newburgh, NY, and Jah'lyiah, Jahzaire, and Tristan Reese from Newburgh, NY, and her great-grandchildren Eric Artis Jr. from North Carolina, Kyler Moody and Kymeara Brown from Newburgh, NY, and a little angel on the way.

And her eleven brothers and sisters: Terry & his wife Barbara Baggett, Janice Baggett, Westley & his Gwendolyn Baggett, all from Pennsylvania, Albert Baggett from Georgia, James Baggett from Connecticut, Alicia Baggett from Poughkeepsie, NY, Curley Faulkner Jr. from North Carolina, Jack Faulkner from Albany, NY, Christine Faulkner from Newburgh, NY, and Elane Faulkner from Highland, NY. And her foster sister, Davita Beaman and husband, her Aunt Shirley, and Uncle June McDonald, and all her nieces and nephews and cousins.

Pat leaves behind a few dear friends, such as Rosetta Chamber, her other road dog, lol, James Tolliver, her Johnston St Crew, her South St. Crew, Janice Stewart and Gracie Pierce, and hanging out with Richard Ford.

I want to thank my Godfather Charles Peterson, who was there for her through her sickness. He checked on her daily, he always sent her some food, and he made sure she was eating. She will be truly missed.
