In loving memory of Paten Solomon Jr.
7/25/36 - 11/27/24

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paten Solomon Jr. who departed this life on November 27, 2024, at 8:10 a.m. at the age of 88. He was a devoted husband, a cherished father, a loyal friend, and a pillar of strength to all who knew him.

"Solomon" was born on July 25, 1936 in Sylvester, Georgia. He was the son of Paten Solomon and Leeola GreenSolomon. He grew up in Sylvester and Tifton Georgia where he learned the values of hard work, kindness, and unwavering faith.

He worked as a factory worker at Eastern Castern and Tarkett, Co. where he retired. He was most known for
his dedication as a handyman in the community.

He found joy in doing odd jobs around his home and spending time with family and friends.

"Solomon" is survived by daughters Tiffany Baker, Felecia Elting, and Shirley Solomon. Sons James Wilson, Johnnie Walker, and Mark Jones. Granddaughters L'Oreal Ruparelia, Tynetta Johnson, Romi Elting, Joi Preston, Tasha Walker, Crystal Solomon, and Desiree Solomon. Grandson Jonathan Solomon. Sisters Ida Mae Rayford, Cathering Francois, and Olamae McKenzie and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will forever cherish his love, wisdom, and many memories shared. He was predeceased by his loving wife Elsene Solomon, Son Liwood Fisher, and grandsons Kenneth Solomon and James Solomon. Brothers Olester (Jack) Solomon, Allen Solomon. Sisters Odessa Solomon and Rosetta Bent.
