Obituary For Neil D. Johnson Jr.

Neil David Johnson Jr. entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2025.

He was born on May 1, 2001, at Northern Dutchess Hospital and grew up in Hyde Park, N.Y. Neil was adored and loved by his family and admired and respected by many. He was known for his deep thinking, individualistic mind, and thirst for knowledge, which he loved to share with others. He challenged people's ideas and conventional thinking. He was a man of integrity and had a strong work ethic. Neil attended Hyde Park schools and was a proud 2019 graduate of FDR High School. His interests included a deep love for physical fitness and Japanese culture; he was self-taught in the language. Other passions of his included music, editing, MMA, golf, and drawing.

He is survived by his mother, Ethella Johnson; his father, Neil Johnson Sr.; and his stepmother, Tove
Johnson, his grandmother, Jewel (Johnson) Caquias, as well as his three cherished sisters, Alexis, Hannah, and Madisen, and many other family members.
