Nadine Faircloth was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, on January 15, 1960 (The Original Martin Luther King Jr. Day) to the late Maso and Julia Faircloth. She peacefully passed and went to her heavenly home on June 19, 2025 (Juneteenth).
Nadine was the nicest person you could meet, the best friend you could ever have, a caring aunt, a supportive sister, and a mother who had a lot of love to give. She loved R&B, gospel, country, and smooth jazz music.
Nadine enjoyed being around family, going for walks on the walkway, the Dutchess Rail Trail, and the trail at Pulaski Park. She also loved going to the movies, traveling, making delicious cakes, and shopping.
She was a fun-loving woman who would help anyone in any way that she could. Often known as the quiet and soft-spoken one out of the seven Faircloth siblings, her smile and laughter could light up a room.
Nadine worked at Fargo as a factory worker for several years, then as a family care worker for 11 years.
She was a member of The Potter House Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Curtis Whitted Sr. During her time with the ministry, Nadine served in The Food Pantry, Sunday School, and the Thanksgiving and Christmas ministry.
She was predeceased in death by her parents, Maso and Julia Faircloth, her brother, Milton Faircloth, and her sister, Macy Wise.
Nadine leaves behind one loving daughter to cherish her memory, Ashley Usher of Poughkeepsie, NY; One sister, Mary Whitted (Curtis) of Poughkeepsie, NY; and three brothers: Bishop Max Faircloth (Pastor Ruth) of Milton, NY, Daniel Faircloth (Jeanette) of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Richard Faircloth of Marlboro, NY. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
