Marc A. Tyus (Tron) was born February 24, 1980, and passed away on November 18, 2025. He was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3; however, he went on to attend West Street School and Devereaux in Rhinebeck, NY. He later went to New Hope Community, located in Loch Sheldrake, NY, where Marc enjoyed attending his day program, Without Walls.
He enjoyed such activities as bowling, swimming, hiking, and going out to dinner and coffee. Marc was always able to light up a room with his singing and was loved by everyone he knew.
He had a list of songs and aspirations of future goals. His favorite songs were "Lean on Me", "Nothing but a G Thang", and "Chicken Wing". "Baby Shark" was changed to "Baby Marc".
When his classmates asked Marc, "What are you thinking about?" his response "I'm thinking of Jesus".
One of his favorite movies was "Wakanda Forever". He was so taken by the Black Panther.
He is survived by his mother, Toni O. Terry; grandmother, Lois Terry; godmother, April Kenan; New Hope Community Family, and a host of other family and friends. I worked with Marc for a few years during his time @205. Everyday was a new adventure with him. If he was mad at you he'd let you know it. When he loved you, you'd feel it. My favorite memory is during a trip to Lake George. It was our last day and we decided to grill up all the food we had left. Marc was sitting on a bench with staff sunglasses on. Without anyone asking him, Marc began singing Georgia on my mind by Ray Charles. Even after all this time I can hear his voice and it brings a bit calm to my soul. Marc wasn't just someone I did nightly meds for, or cooked meals with. Marc is family to me, even if he wanted to "Kick me one". And yes Marc I love you too
