Loretta Carol Faulkner-El Moazen, 63, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 15, 2026. Though the final chapter of her life was marked by medical challenges and the multiple disabilities she sojourned through, she carried them with the same endurance she brought to everything else.
Born on April 7, 1963, Loretta spent more than twenty years as a Certified Nurse Aide and Home Health Aide, known throughout her career for her compassion and her loving service to her patients. Caring for others was never simply her profession; it was her instinct.
Loretta was a complex woman who loved hard and wanted good for everyone she met. She had a heart of gold and would bend over backwards for her friends and family. She helped to raise, feed, and shelter many, and she forgave often. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Nathaniel Robert Lennon, Jr. and Keiona Trinae Faulkner-Gorham; her grandchildren, Glorya, Jada, Nina, Grace, and Joshua; her sisters and brothers, Wanda Barner-Hutson, Sharon Faulkner-Anderson, Sylvia "Cookie" Torres, Mercedes Torres-Evans, Robert Jordan, and Tite "Tightrope" Faulkner; and her beloved pets, Foxy and Marley.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Olivia Laverne Barner-Dallas; her father, Melvin Luitenant Faulkner; and her grandson, Saint Kai Lennon.
