Obituary For Loretta Bush

Our beloved Elder Loretta Bush transitioned on September 15, 2024, with her family by her side.
Loretta was the eighth child born to Freddy and Ruth Elizabeth Bush on October 27, 1963, in Charleston, South Carolina.

Loretta leaves behind seven sisters, Martha and Mary Bush of Poughkeepsie, NY, Shenica Odom and Fredia Bush of Queens, NY, Tina Brown (Kenneth) of Fresno, CA, Fredricka Lacy (Gary) of Winter Haven, FL, and Sheila Dent of Tacoma, WA; 2 spiritual daughters, Addie Davison, and Simone West; close friends, Pastor Alvera Thomas-Johnson, Joy Doxier, Pastor Peggie Condon, and Joan Vernon-Warren. Elder Bush leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and countless Godchildren.

Prophetess, Elder Loretta Bush was a bold warrior for God who stood on truth and not popularity. Elder Bush was called into ministry in the late 1980s and later ordained by Bishop William Wayne of New Beginnings Church on July 9, 1990. Elder Bush was a
member of End Time Harvesters International Church, and Dr. Angella Reid was her Pastor.

Elder Bush enjoyed helping others and was only a phone call away when others needed her. If Elder Bush could not get to you, she would do what she did best which was pray for you.

Elder Bush worked for Bernard Fineson DDSO in Queens NY, but her greatest work was done in the ministries she served in such as assisting Pastor Sonya McLaurin in the children's ministry while attending Holy Light Pentecostal Church in Poughkeepsie, NY under the leadership of Apostle Debra Gause.

Elder Bush served in street ministry, jail ministry, and ministry for the homeless. Elder Bush served other Pastors as well. Pastor Vera Tabernacle of Praise Outreach Ministry in St Croix, Pastor Lacy The Church of Hope of Winter Haven, FL.

Elder Bush's smile, teaching, boldness, unconditional love, and grace will surely be missed by those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank those who were a part of her departure journey. Thank you for sitting with Elder Bush, visiting her, and praying
with and for the family.

Thank you to the following Pastors and their congregations Lamontville Assembly of God Pastor Naiam “Bobbie” Mohamed (Maltee), Holy Light Pentecostal Church Apostle Debra Gause, House of Prayer Pentecostal Holiness Church Bishop Edward Pitman, Apostle Louis A. Modest Christ Abundant Love, and End Time Outreach Network, Pastor Anita Sigh.

Elder Bush was predeceased by her parents Freddy and Ruth Elizabeth Bush, Brother
Micheal Bush.
