OBITUARIES

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Ann Hill Dyroff, who passed away in her home, surrounded by family and loved ones, on October 19th at the age of 72 in Fort Montgomery, NY.

Linda was born on July 28, 1954, to Mary Sandra Gruno. She grew up in Highland Falls, NY, and attended Sacred Heart School, where she met her husband, Thomas Robert Dyroff. Throughout her life, Linda was known for being a good friend, a talented florist, and an amazing mother and grandmother.

Linda enjoyed raising her children, spending time with friends and family as an incredible hostess, traveling with her husband around the world, and appreciating the arts. She lived in Central Florida for many years, where she worked in numerous roles in the hospitality, travel, and local education industries. She touched the lives of many through her dedication to family and will be remembered for her ability to make everyone feel welcome, safe, and loved.

Linda is survived by her husband, Thomas Robert Dyroff; daughter Kristen, son-in-law Jason, and grandsons Oliver, Xander, and Ziggy O’Dell; daughter Lauren Dyroff and son-in-law Chris Orem; son Nicholas Dyroff and granddaughters Caroline, Vivian, and Quinn Dyroff; uncles Donald and Raymond Gruno; and mother-in-law Bernice Dyroff.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Sandra Gruno, and aunt, Barbara Diskin.

A memorial service will be held in December, when family and friends will be invited to attend and share memories of Linda.

Though Linda is no longer with us, her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
