Eric E. Garland entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 9, 2024. He was 75.

Eric was born on August 23, 1948. He graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and was honorably
discharged from the US Army. Eric enjoyed listening to music, looking at the news, and gardening.

He leaves to cherish his memories are his wife of 49 years, Dorothy Garland; children, Timothy Garland,
Janene Garland and James Garland; grandchildren, Tazania Underwood, Timyrah Garland, James Garland and Jahzel Garland; siblings, Travis Queen, Wesley Garland, and Hanifah Muhammad; along with several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews
