On February 5, 2001, on a cold winter day at NY Presbyterian Hospital, God blessed the world with a baby boy, weighing 2 lbs. 5oz. His loving parents, Ruffino Alejandró and Rama Danita Irving, named him Christian Alejandró.
On April 14, 2026, at 4:56 PM, Christian peacefully answered God’s call and exchanged the cares and burdens of this world for a peaceful and eternal rest. He departed this life surrounded by family at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital.
Christian spent his early years attending elementary school in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and graduated in May 2018 from Great Mills High School in Lexington Park, Maryland. He later relocated to New York, where he was employed at The Gap as a merchandise handler and briefly attended Dutchess Community College.
Despite his young age, Christian possessed a quiet confidence and sincerity that touched everyone he encountered. He had a deep love for his family, music, rapping, watching classic films, and playing on Xbox. Affectionately known as “Christian and Ali” by family and friends, he brought light, laughter, and warmth wherever he went. He will always be remembered as a truly kind soul.
Christian was preceded in death by his beloved Mom, Rama Danita; his maternal grandparents, Edward (Poppi), Mabel (GiGi) McNorton; his grandfather, Charles (PopPop) Copes, and his cherished niece, Naeaja Alford.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory: his Dad, Ruffinó (Candi), Norfolk Va; his brother Chianti Ruffinó (Brittany), Virginia Beach Va; his baby brother Christopher René, Norfolk VA; his sister Krishna Collins, Beacon NY; his niece, Ajanae Foreman, Beacon NY; his nephew King McCray, Beacon NY and his grand-niece, Azryella Minor; his maternal grandmother Edwina Copes, Beacon NY; his paternal grandmother, Terri Reneé Irving (TT), Poughkeepsie NY, his Uncle Terry Irving (Sherion), Laurel MD; his Uncle Pocket (Mel), Poughkeepsie NY; his Uncle Frank Pittman, Poughkeepsie NY; his Cousin Kichiri Irving, whom he spent many summers with in New York and Maryland, Virginia Beach VA; his grandfather Reynold Berkley; along with a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon at the Central Baptist Church, 26 Church Road, Salt Point, NY. The Inspirational Message will be brought by Reverend Jonathan McPhee of Beulah Baptist Church. Instead of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Central Baptist Church in Christian’s honor. A repass will be held immediately following in the Rev. Melvin Rountree Fellowship Hall at Central Baptist Church.
