Obituary For Carol A. Tissiera

Carol A. Tissiera departed this life and entered Eternal Rest on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Pines Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born on January 29, 1940 to parents Anna Holman and Percy Hancock in Pleasant Valley, NY. She was raised by her grandparents, William and Mary Holman. Carolyn attended the Hyde Park School System and was baptized at the Central Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Roger Douglas. Carol was united in marriage to Jack Tissiera on July 12, 1969. She retired from Fargo Manufacturing Corp. Carol loved the Lord, her family, making up her eyebrows, Smokey Robinson and General Hospital. She leaves to mourn 4 daughters, Karen Blanchard (Kenneth) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Kim Holman, Kelli Holman and Deatra Holman all of Poughkeepsie, NY; 2 sons, Bryan Holman and Jack Tissiera of Poughkeepsie; stepson, Steven Tissiera of Poughkeepsie and stepdaughter, Linda Tissiera of Georgia;14 grandchildren, 19 great - grandchildren; 2 great -great grandchildren; 2 aunts, Evelyn Spencer of LaGrange and Natalie Holman of Poughkeepsie; 3 loving cousins, Donna Johnson (who she was raised with), Denacca Johnson and Daion Strothers all of Maryland. Many other cousins and friends who also loved her much. Carol was predeceased by her husband, parents, grandparents, son. Kevin Holman, stepsister, Carol Albury, 4 great -grandchildren, 2 cousins, Barbara Jeter -Jackson and Hollis Swenson (whom she was also raised with). Sleep In Peace Carol. You fought a good fight. You finished your course. You kept the Faith. You Earned Your Rest. We Will Always Love You BUT God Loved You Best.
