Calvin Lee Jackson Jr. (Aka) CJ, 34 of Poughkeepsie NY was called home on November 4, 2024.

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on May 22, 1990, to Patricia Galimore and Calvin Jackson Sr. CJ attended Poughkeepsie Schools and took on many jobs in the field he loved so much: cooking. CJ had a smile that just lit up the room. He loved being around his family and making everyone laugh. CJ was so lovable and caring. He would give you anything you asked of him, very naturally sharing. He had an extraordinary light in him that would never dim.

CJ leaves to cherish his memory; his loving mother, Patricia Galimore of Poughkeepsie, NY, and his father, Calvin Jackson Sr. of Sanford, FL; his sister/ best friend, Royteisha Wright; his nephew, who adored him Kodi Drummond; brothers, Eriq Pesante and Dontay Jackson; grandparents, grandmother, Pamela Galimore of Poughkeepsie, NY, grandfather, James Randolph, and grandmother, Joyce Jackson of Sanford, FL; aunts, Tabitha Travis, Veronica Galimore, Ruth Jackson Cromedy, Tina Jackson, Joyce M. Jackson, and Betty Ann Jackson; uncles, Tommy, Bobby, Eddie Jackson, and a host of cousins and friends, including Kenneth Taylor and Veranique Hewitt. He is predeceased by his step-father, Roy A. Wright; cousins, Shameik Floyd, Jayden Galimore, and YaniQue Jackson; grandfathers, Dave Henderson and Robert E. Jackson Sr.

CJ was loved by so many and most of all his sister, Royteisha, who he did anything to protect. Their relationship was beyond words and he loved her so much.
