OBITUARIES

I remember always saying and talking to Mrs Clayborne as a child in highland falls! I absolutely love her and as I grew up always searched her out and crowds to say hello and wave! She absolutely loved my mother she always used to call her Mary Jane ( Mary Ann Rose) and I remember her and my grandmother ( Anna Mae Rose ) having talks and me running around playing. One of the fondest things I remember from when I was younger was a time when all the people from the different churches used to visit each other's church, I remember going to church where Mrs Clayborne was and it was just the best I always used to ask about it after that! My serious condolences go out to her family she was a very wonderful woman May she rest in paradise

Mother Clayborne was a shining example for all to follow. In every encounter with her she testified to the GOODNESS OF GOD, shared her love for me and my family, told me of the pride she felt in me and Dwayne, and encouraged our continued walk with the Lord. Although she is missed, she will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Mother Clayborne. Family — take comfort in the Lord. Michelle and Dwayne McQueen

Wow! What a beautiful, dedicated and sincere Woman of God was Mrs. Clayborne! My sincere condolences to Derek and Jesse and the rest of the family. Mrs. Clayborne was a blessing to all who knew her and she always had a smile for you no matter what she was going through! So happy I got to see her and visit with her, even though it was brief, on my last visit home to Highland Falls and to also talk to her a few times since! Rest In Peace Mrs. Clayborne.
