Archie Thomas McDonald, a lifelong resident of Newburgh, NY entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital Newburgh Campus. He was 60 years old. Archie was born to the late John and Essie McDonald. On November 5, 1963, in Newburgh, NY.
Archie was employed for 25 years at AFFCO in New Windsor, NY. He was an avid fisherman, fierce provider and devoted family man.
Archie leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife, Linda McDonald, 5 children, Arvia McDonald-McCaskill (Danny), Archie McDonald Jr., Daejon McDonald (Jackie), Shantiqua McDonald, and Tyvon McDonald (Makaila). 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter, his loving siblings, Patricia McDonald (Tony), Stella Williams, Pauline Joseph (Charles), Russell McDonald (Sonja), Jerome McDonald and Dawanda McDonald-Brantley (James) and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 3 brothers, John Willie McDonald Jr, Clarence Ray McDonald, And Charles McDonald, two sisters Doris McDonald and Carolyn McDonald, and one brother-in-law, Archie Williams.
