Jose Sanchez

In honor of Jose Sanchez, 74, who was born on August 11, 1950, in his hometown of Tlachinola Puebla, Mexico, we announce his passing with profound sadness. He was called to God’s presence on June 11, 2025, at his town of residence, Newburgh, NY, surrounded by his family.

Jose survived with his loving wife, 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who loved his family and enjoyed life.

A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at Rhodes Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass, Thursday, June 19, 2025, 9:00 am at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church, 145 Benkard Avenue, Newburgh, NY 12550. Any donations will be accepted at the funeral services.
