SUMMARY:Headley George Palmer
DESCRIPTION:Headley George Palmer was born on the 29th of March 1937 in Guy’s Hill in the Parish of Saint Catherine to parents Almira Crosby and George Palmer. He finally went to be with the Lord on Wednesday\, the 16th of April. Headley attended Basic School and Elementary School in Guy’s Hill. After leaving school\, he went to learn the construction trade. He mastered the art of construction and building. He was one of the best contractors there was. When he built a house\, it was well-built. He migrated to the United States in 1971\, continuing his mastery as a Contractor/Bricklayer until his retirement. He was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Association. \nBefore he migrated from Jamaica\, he fathered three children: son Patrick Palmer\, who is deceased\, son Andrew Palmer\, daughter Carol Palmer\, 6 grandchildren: Simone Johnson\, Shushanna Palmer\, Julia Davidson\, Jasmine Davidson\, Destin Bell\, and Samatha Palmer. He had 7 great-grandchildren\, 6 sisters\, Carmen Benneth-Mckenzie\, Phyllis McTavish\, Sandra Wynter\, Verna Bennett-Maylor\, Dorrel Rose Palmer(deceased)\, Delseata Agatha Dawkins (deceased)\, 4 brothers-in-law\, 4 nephews\, and 5 nieces. He was married to Charmaine Palmer. \nHeadley loved singing. He would just start singing his favorite song\, “Make the World Go Away” by Eddy Arnold. He also loved watching the Judge Judy show during his downtime. He would laugh at her comments and say\, “That’s my girl.” He was very loving and kind. He loved his bulla and hot chocolate. He was always well dressed with his jewelry\, suits\, and fancy shoes. \nDuring his early months of illness\, Carol\, his daughter\, ministered to him\, and he received Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Oftentimes\, he would say “He’s the Man\, nuh” referring to God as the one who is in control. \nHeadley was a proud man who worked very hard and tirelessly. He was a strong man\, both mentally and physically. Even until the day he died\, he never complained of being sick or feeling any pain. He was a great father who supported his children throughout the years. He was the best earthly father that anyone could ask for. We thank God for blessing us with him. \nPsalms 73:26\nMy flesh and my heart may fail\, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
