SUMMARY:Gerald Harriott
DESCRIPTION:In Loving Memory of Gerald Harriott Sr \nGerald Harriott Sr was born on November 23rd\, 1962\, to Mother Enid L. Harriott and Father Mr. Harriott. Gerald grew up in the United Kingdom. \nAt a young age\, his mother packed him up in search of a better life. \nWhile living in Poughkeepsie\, New York\, Gerald had several jobs. Gerald worked as a plumber. Gerald was a leader—one who was optimistic and willing to lend a helping hand. \nHis children describe him as a strong-minded\, resilient\, and fun-loving person. One who was comical and loved the Lord. Gerald taught his sons to be “strong\,” and was an active father. One who attended all of their games. Gerald was reserved\, but when it came to his “boys\,” he’d do anything to protect them\, and be there for them. Gerald\, was an overall great man\, and an amazing father. \nGerald loved his children\, grandchildren\, and family dearly. Gerald had an extraordinary bond with Kairo as he’d become filled with joy anytime Kairo was dropped off with him. He’d already have his cartoons ready\, and his heart filled with joy as he discussed his vision for watching Kairo grow up to one day engage in boxing. \nGerald had a zest for life and enjoyed praying\, watching football/ boxing\, and watching his grandchildren. \nGerald was a true blessing to everyone\, and one who left a lasting legacy on anyone he came in contact with. \nGerald was a fighter up until his last day\, June 26th\, 2026\, when the Lord called him home. Gerald is predeceased by Ephrain A. Morrison\, his brother. Gerald is survived by his three children: Gerald Harriott Jr. (son)\, Dante Harriott (son)\, and Donovan Harriott (son); grandchildren: Kairo Harriott (grandson)\, Jenevia Genius(granddaughter); nephew: Davion Mcadam\, Cousins & In-laws: Michael Fearon\, Karen Allen\, and Audrey Sibblies. \nMay the life Gerald Harriott Sr. lived continue to have an impact on us all\, and may we cherish all memories as Gerald rests peacefully.
